How it works

• Read the wind-up. The sentinel raises its staff, a ring closes in on your shield and a danger strip fills the floor. The ring meets the shield at the moment of impact.
• Parry on time. Click, or press F or J. On a phone, tap the PARRY button.
• Judged in milliseconds. Perfect, good, too early, too late or miss, with your error in ms, measured from the time of your press.
• No spamming. After each press, parry rests for 0.3 seconds, so mashing the button does not work.
• Score and combo. Perfect and good parries score points, and a run of successes adds a combo bonus.
• Automatic difficulty. Shorter wind-ups and narrower windows on harder levels. The level changes only after a finished session of 20 attacks.
